Try following these steps. Steam > Library > Bannerlord > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files, then go up one level and delete the Bannerlord directory. I'd open the game, and only 3 options were shown - options, credits, and exit game. Solution: For me, it was exactly as EdnightPT mentioned above, when I clicked on mods in the game launcher, all of the default options were unchecked except Native. The game refuses to launch no matter what I do. I managed to launch it with Bannerlord.Native file from it's folder and it launches with a white screen. But it cannot make no saves, no loads, nothing. How can I fix this please ? Step 2: Inside that Module folder is an xml called Submodule.xml, delete that. Step 3: Run Launcher again and see if it pops up. Step 4: If it does, Good!!! Just place all you Mods (even the one that supposedly messed it up in the first place), and you are good to go! If not , I got nothing for ya! sefros.
Go to task manager - details - find bannerlord.exe (something like that) - right click on it - end task. This should solve the problem. It does not. I can close it in the Task Manager and Steam still thinks it's running. Ran into that issue. It’s trying to report the crash issues instead of closing. The first reason why mods stop working in most games, including Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, is that they become incompatible with the base game. The game gets updates which may add new content, fix bugs or may change the main code entirely too. The mod creator has to update their mod to work smoothly with all the changes the game has made
Hope it worked out! I'm having the same issue as OP, but I'm not sure how to roll my game version back to 1.6.2 (currently on 1.6.5) If you go to the properties for Bannerlord (right click on it in your steam library), then the "Betas" tab, you can select whichever version you want.
