Oil qty was about 2.4-2.5L (manual says 2.8L capacity) and no obvious signs of coolant in oil, very minimal stress lines seen on oil filter. But this was after 4k+ kms after the last oil and filter change and was inconclusive. So , we put in new oil and filter and decided to observe for 1k kms. Firs visit pictures.

Major servicing on my 790 DUKE here in AUS costed me ($950 AUD) flat quote. mechanics labour. all filters. all fluids, oil and coolant. valve clearances. chain care. new head gaskets for the rocker cover. Thank you Sutto's! They also did service for my instrument cluster and installed a new one ($765 AUD a warranty spare) and $140 AUD to update Oil change done. Bolts came out just fine. Oil drains like water- not sure why it would need to be hot. Used a mechanics magnet to get the metal grit off the strainer magnets. The magnet also pulled the oil filter out, no need for snap ring pliers. Next time I'll just buy new screens. Thanks for the help!
