Just got Game Pass PC to play No Man's Sky but performance is terrible. There is black screen on launch that lasts about 2 minutes. After starting new game it takes forever for it to start and even if it starts, game constantly freezes for about 2-3 minutes. Tried everything I found on the internet but nothing worked.
I originally downloaded the game years ago off the Game Pass and even then the multiplayer worked in the game. For some strange reason it now no longer seems to work. I originally thought it could be because I no longer had the Game Pass due to getting a new debit card, but this should not be the case because both me and my sister both bought Exchange friend codes from NMS network tab, make sure that in the network settings you have multiplayer enabled AND ‘join group’ set to friends or anyone and NOT by invitation only. One of you start the game regularly; once it is started, the other one choose multiplayer and than ‘join’ friend from the list. That should be it. Ironically I think I played the game very briefly before 1.14.15 and it was running smoothly then. I thought it was odd that it would stutter now. When I take the headset off and look on the desktop, there is no visible lag there. I can move the headset around and there is no lag that can be seen on the desktop mirror.
My brother recently started playing No Man's Sky on my Xbox game pass ultimate account and I had already bought No Man's Sky at launch through Steam. We want to play together but he doesn't have the option to. Space anomaly is already unlocked but he is completely alone in there and doesn't have the network options either.

No Man's Sky is not installing/updating. It's only this game, and I've hard reset, uninstalled and left it unplugged for a full hour and nothing has worked. Edit: Check the comments for the solution I found worked for me. Try unplugging your router/modem and plugging it back in. If that doesn’t work then contact Microsoft support.

The game is 100% playable, but multiplayer isn't.. I keep seeing multiple threads of people saying to change privacy a settings, update the game, change permissions and nothing works.
